My Room

My room has become the staple of my apartment. It truly is one of those places that's above all else and I like it that way. As I sit in my bed I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It soothes me and if I could I would do everything from here.

It hardly seems 2 years ago when I took this. I had long hair that was of my natural color, I was pure, I had a different sense of life and priorities but I was also trapped. 18 years of age and with a profound story of my own. The title of this photo says many things. I was battling various things that may not come as naturally to other young adults. When I think back on those times, they bring me curiosity, and intrigue me. I surrounded myself with so many things but often felt alone and completely afraid. After all, no one should ever see your fear, right? Memories are the best and worst gifts in life. I always wonder why so many people wish to forget. I will make it most certain that from now on, I'll live to remember it all.
