Look Who Grew Up And Got A 9 to 5

I was promoted at work...from sales manager to some sort of assistant district manager in the main office of the company I work for. And if you read my blog, (whoever you are) you would already know that I work for a boo-shee pet supply. One of which I've been shackled to for quite some time now. I like my job, at some point I used to love it. I get to enlighten people on the pets they purchased or adopted without thinking about it before hand. :D But anyways, I'm drifting. I'm sitting at a desk now, typing up this blog. This job is so different. I like it, but I will surely miss speaking and being social with customers. Helping out clueless pet owners and just standing for 10 hours a day and I NEVER thought I'd be saying this. As for now, I'm in charge of inventory control, picking and choosing what items the stores will carry, ordering cute things, throwing out ugly things, sitting around and getting fat for 10 lovely hours, consuming a shitload of coffee and yeah mmhm. Love the new job. Hey, at least I get my own desk, a big ass board to pin stuff too, my own computer and a phone. I get to pretend I'm a 19yr old professional. haha, I have a wayyyy grown up job for my age and I dont know how to act :P

So This Is The New Year

One more day until 2010 and looking back on this year overwhelms me with so many thoughts on everything that's happened. How so much has changed, not only with the things around me but also with myself. At the close of this year I have learned so many new things, met some really insightful people, had some heartache and have been really fucking happy. It's hard not to mention the negative things and how I wished I would've done certain things differently but now that I think about it, I'm completely satisfied with the way things turned out. For once I'm ok with how my life is and where it could be going and I like the way that makes me feel. So here's to 2010. You better bring me some good times.
